GEOBALLAST FOUNDATION

Our Geoballast Foundations  are for locations where anchoring into the earth is less than ideal. Some sites may have obstructions underground including electrical lines or refuse sites that may contain large debris. The Geoballast can sit on top of these locations  avoiding costly installation or major redesign around obstacles. This versatile ballast design attaches to our existing rack solutions, ADVANCED MODULAR and READY RACK. Both of these solutions are designed to flow seamlessly along the topography of the solar site.

PRE-ASSEMBLED RAPID SETUP

The galvanized wire box form is delivered to the site 70% pre-assembled and only takes a few minutes for the box to be unfolded, the anchor tube to be inserted and for the Geoballast box to be fully assembled. Then the ballast can be put in the proper position in the row and be filled with the quarry rock.

A FRACTION OF CONCRETE COST

By utilizing locally sourced, standard 3 1/4 quarry rock, the Geoballast is a fraction of the cost of concrete solutions. Since there is no  concrete, project bottlenecks and scheduling headaches are reduced. There is also no need for expensive concrete mixer trucks that would further compound costs.
