COVID-19 NOTICE

COVID-19 NOTICE

WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS & READY TO SERVE OUR CUSTOMERS

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to evolve, Artisan Electric is continually monitoring the situation and seeking to make informed decisions based on guidance and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), public health authorities, NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association), and other state & federal government agencies.

The safety of our clients, employees, and vendor partners is at the forefront of everything we do.

As we continue to serve, we have taken a number of steps in accordance with CDC guidance to ensure the continued safety of our people. These measures are intended to protect not only the individual, but others around them – together, we can combine our efforts to protect one another.

These are the COVID-19 protocols we are following when visiting your property:

  • We are asking that customers clean and sanitize any work areas prior to entering your home if the work is indoors. I.e. door handles, electrical equipment if it has been touched recently, etc.
  • We will maintain 6’ of personal distancing at all times.
  • If you have household pets please keep them away from any work areas.
  • All workers will sanitize hands before and after entering.
  • All workers will wear face masks. We ask that you do as well.
  • All workers will clean the work area with sanitizer wipes afterwards.

Scheduling notice:

We are requiring any staff members that are sick in any way to get tested for COVID-19 and not to return to work until they receive a negative test result. This may cause a short delay or a shift of schedules. Please be advised that appointments may change for this reason. We’ll let you know as soon as possible if anything comes up.

Estimating notice (Residential Electric and Electric Vehicle Chargers):

Please be advised that COVID-19 has caused shortages for electrical parts, which may delay an estimator’s ability to send you pricing in a timely manner. Because of part shortage and the large amount of daily electrical requests we receive, there can be a 2 week – 2 month queue of clients waiting on estimates. If you want an update on where we are at with a pricing estimate please feel free to reach out. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these difficult times together. Please note that this notice applies less to the residential solar installation side of our company and more to the residential electrical and electric vehicle charger side. If your electric vehicle charger installation is straight forward you can expect a sooner turnaround time for quotes as well.

Phone notice:

Our office staff are on flexible work from home schedules. Some of our staff come into the office a few times per week, but for the most part they are working from home. Please be advised that cell service can vary, and the ability to have multiple lines open at once are limited on cell phones. If you call the main office number or a staff member’s direct line and do not get an answer right away – please leave a voicemail and we will call you back as soon as possible. It’s likely that they are on the other line with another client.
