The Vashon Land Trust purchased historic Matsuda Farm in 2015, marking it’s first-ever farmland preservation project. By selling their family home and farm to the Land Trust, the Matsuda family allowed the property’s rich history to be shared and preserved in perpetuity, while providing many new agricultural and recreational opportunities for the Vashon community.
